takes place. The Legal Execution Department Order No. 220/2550
was subsequently revoked by the Department Order No. 60/2554
and the Mediation Center was established as a newly created
office under the Legal Execution Department, totally separated
from and no longer under the Seizure of Property Division.
The Mediation Center is empowered to handle dispute
mediation after court decision, both before and after the legal
execution process takes place, to follow up and evaluate
the cases, keep record of the cases, train effective mediators
and propagate its duties to the public as well as to collaborate
with or to support other government offices as assigned.
Nowadays, the Legal Execution Department has set
up mediation centers in all provinces, aiming to provide
nationwide mediation services to the public.
